Dear Clients,
I would like to thank all of you for our continued success and growth at the Berwick Animal Clinic. We are constantly striving to create an environment and culture of excellent patient care, combined with the best client experience that we can provide. Due to the steady increase of our patients it is getting more difficult for Dr. Huter and I to accomplish these goals, while at the same time trying to have some resemblance of a life outside of work. I understand this is a good problem to have, therefore, we are excited to introduce our new veterinarian, Dr. Luke Haver.
Dr. Haver is originally from Lima, Ohio and attended The Ohio State University. He graduated from OSU College of Veterinary Medicine in 2011. After graduation, he moved to North Carolina for 5 years, then returned back to Ohio in 2016. He is looking forward to taking care of the pets at the Berwick Animal Clinic. He takes great pride in practicing high-quality medicine and personalizing each pet's care. He specifically enjoys internal medicine and dermatology. He lives with his wife, Gina, and 2 Pembroke Welsh Corgis, Zaya, and Luna. He has had two other very special Corgis in the past and loves the breed. He enjoys being outdoors, attending car shows, watching football and spending time with family and friends. He looks forward to being an integral part of Berwick Animal Clinic.
Dr. Haver has only been with us for approximately one week, and he is already proving himself to be an integral part of our team. I'm sure you will enjoy him as much as we do. Again, thank you for allowing us to be "your other family doctor."
Dr. Joe Bando
We offer both preventative care services (much like your visits to the dentist), along with dental x-rays and tooth extractions. Good oral hygiene is the best thing that you can do to ensure a longer life, with less health concerns, for your pet. Call us to schedule a dental exam or service.
xLaboratory services are a vital part of the diagnostic process when it comes to veterinarian care. This is because in many cases it is not possible to be able to give a firm diagnosis without undertaking additional tests to confirm the root of the problem. If you have any questions or concerns your vet will be happy to speak to you.
xThis is the most effective way to assist in having your companion returned if they go missing. The microchip (about the size of a grain of rice) is placed under the skin between the shoulder blades. When scanned, it provides information that assists in reuniting you with your furry friend!
xCongratulations on the newest member of your household - we can’t wait to meet them! Call us today to schedule an initial visit – our team will conduct a thorough physical exam, in addition to discussing nutrition, training, and medical care. We’ll be more than happy to answer any other questions you may have, as well
xLaser therapy is a holistic, non-invasive treatment that reduces inflammation, decreases pain, and accelerates healing for a variety of conditions. It is useful as a post-surgical treatment, for acute conditions such as sprains, strains, and wounds, and chronic conditions such as degenerative joint disease and osteoarthritis.
