New Year’s Resolutions (for the dog!)

Resolution #1: I will patiently wait for my meals and not steal food from my doggy brothers and sisters, and my humans, and the cat, and…

Resolution #2: I will follow the credo of “friends not food” in regards to the woodland creatures in the backyard and cats/birds/etc in the household.

Resolution #3: I will be there for my humans when they need a good cuddle, happy face, or sweet sloppy kiss.

Resolution #4: Delivery people will be my friends ALL the time, not just when they bring me my special doggy food/toy packages

Resolution #5: If I get sick in the middle of the night, I will try to make it to the tiling instead of the carpeting.

Resolution #6: I will try not to bark at you when you are on the phone, even if what I am saying is more important than whomever you are talking to.

Resolution #7: I will be brave in the face of the vacuum cleaner and other things that make loud noises in the house.

Resolution #8: I will take my pills without spitting them out…but only if you use peanut butter or something else yummy to wrap them in.
