  • Mike Gingras

Mike comes to us from out of the blue – his previous career was as a Flight Engineer with the U.S. Air Force.  He spent 22 years in the military, and was able to see a good portion of the world.  After retiring, Mike found his new passion was working with animals.  After volunteering at several local shelters, Mike decided to make animals his next career.  He started with us in 2014 as our receptionist, and was promoted to office manager in 2015. Mike is also pursuing his degree as a Veterinary Technician.

At home, Mike and his wife Tammy have three Boxers, one Staffordshire Terrier, and a Visla/Great Dane/Terrier mix, in addition to a varying number of cats.  He still volunteers at shelters, both fostering cats for Citizens for Humane Action and getting experience in the medical department at Madison County Humane Society.
  • Michael Sgambellone

Michael started his career in the animal field at Pilot Dogs - where they train guide dogs for the blind. After receiving his degree as a Vet Tech from the CSCC Veterinarian Technology program he got hired at Berwick in 2002 and eventually became Dr. Kidds right hand man.  He is known to love to talk and will happily discuss in length anything you want to know about your pets, or his own.
